FDG6301N-F085P Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • A thermal pad is recommended under the package to improve thermal performance. A minimum of 2oz copper thickness and a thermal relief pattern is recommended. Refer to the onsemi application note AND9093/D for more details.

  • The device requires a stable input voltage (VIN) and a proper biasing of the gate driver (VCC) to ensure optimal performance. A decoupling capacitor (e.g., 10uF) should be placed close to the VIN pin, and a separate power supply or a well-regulated voltage source should be used for VCC.

  • The maximum allowed voltage on the drain-source pins (VDSS) is 250V. Exceeding this voltage may damage the device.

  • The device is sensitive to ESD. Handling the device by its pins or using an ESD wrist strap is recommended. Anti-static packaging and storage are also recommended to prevent ESD damage.

  • The recommended operating temperature range for the FDG6301N-F085P is -40°C to 150°C. Operating the device outside this range may affect its performance and reliability.
