  • ROHM recommends a thermal pad on the bottom of the package, connected to a large copper area on the PCB to dissipate heat efficiently. A minimum of 2oz copper thickness and a thermal relief pattern are also recommended.

  • To ensure reliable operation, follow the recommended operating temperature range (Ta = -40°C to 125°C), and consider derating the device's power dissipation according to the ambient temperature. Additionally, ensure good thermal design and heat dissipation on the PCB.

  • The maximum allowable voltage on the input pins is the voltage rating of the device (VCC + 0.5V) or 6.5V, whichever is lower. Exceeding this voltage may cause damage to the device.

  • Handle the device with ESD-protective equipment, such as wrist straps, mats, and bags. During assembly, ensure that the PCB and components are properly grounded, and use ESD-protective packaging and storage materials.

  • Store the device in a dry, cool place (temperature range: 5°C to 30°C, humidity: 60% or less) away from direct sunlight and moisture. Avoid storing the device in environments with high temperatures, humidity, or exposure to chemicals.
