The recommended power-up sequence is to apply VCC first, followed by VDD, and then the clock signal. This ensures proper initialization of the device.
The clock source can be configured using the CLK_SEL pin. Tie it to VCC for an internal clock source or to GND for an external clock source. Additionally, the clock frequency can be selected using the FREQ_SEL pin.
The maximum clock frequency supported is 40 MHz. However, it's recommended to operate the device at a frequency of 20 MHz or lower for optimal performance and power consumption.
A simple reset circuit can be implemented using a resistor and capacitor connected to the RESET pin. The recommended values are 1 kΩ and 10 nF, respectively. This ensures a clean reset signal during power-up and power-down cycles.
The TEST pin is used for manufacturing testing purposes only. It should be left unconnected or tied to GND in normal operation.
