  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the analog and digital sections separate, and use a common ground point for the analog and digital grounds. Ensure the power supply is stable and has low ripple. Use a separate power plane for the DS3150QN+ and keep it away from noisy digital signals.

  • The recommended clock frequency is 25MHz, but it can operate up to 50MHz. The clock signal should have a duty cycle of 40-60% and a rise/fall time of <5ns. Use a clock signal with low jitter (<100ps) and ensure it is properly terminated to prevent reflections.
