The maximum number of devices that can be connected to a single 1-Wire bus is 256, but it's recommended to limit it to 100 devices or less to ensure reliable operation.

To use parasite power mode, connect VDD to GND and ensure that the 1-Wire bus is pulled up to a voltage source (e.g., 5V) through a resistor (e.g., 2.2kΩ). This allows the DS18S20 to power itself from the 1-Wire bus.
