  • The maximum power supply voltage is 36V, but it's recommended to operate within the specified range of ±2V to ±18V to ensure optimal performance.

  • To ensure stability, add a 10nF to 100nF capacitor between the output and the inverting input (negative feedback path) to prevent oscillations.

  • Use a symmetrical layout, keep the input and output traces short, and avoid running digital signals near the analog signals. Also, use a solid ground plane and decouple the power supply with 10uF and 100nF capacitors.

  • While the DL4004 can be used as a comparator, it's not recommended due to its relatively slow slew rate (0.5V/us) and limited bandwidth (1.5MHz). A dedicated comparator IC would be a better choice.

  • Use ESD protection diodes (e.g., 1N4148) on the input pins to protect against electrostatic discharge. You can also add a series resistor (1kΩ to 10kΩ) to limit the input current.
