Store the crystals in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. The recommended storage temperature range is -20°C to +40°C.
While the CR1220 is designed to operate in a wide range of temperatures, it's not recommended for use in humid environments above 80% RH. Prolonged exposure to high humidity can lead to degradation of the crystal's performance and lifespan.
The maximum allowable voltage for the CR1220 crystal is 1.5 times the rated voltage, which is 30V for this specific model. Exceeding this voltage can cause damage to the crystal or affect its performance.
Handle the crystal by the edges or the metal frame to prevent damage. Avoid touching the crystal surface or the electrodes, as the oils from your skin can affect the crystal's performance. Use an anti-static wrist strap or mat to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage.
The CR1220 crystal is designed to operate in environments with moderate vibration. However, extreme vibration can affect the crystal's performance and lifespan.
