For optimal performance, it is recommended to follow a 4-layer PCB stackup with a solid ground plane, and to use thermal vias to dissipate heat. A minimum of 2oz copper thickness is recommended for the top and bottom layers.
To ensure EMC, it is recommended to follow proper PCB layout practices, use shielding, and add filtering components such as ferrite beads and capacitors to minimize electromagnetic interference.
The recommended input capacitance value is 10uF to 22uF, with an ESR of less than 1 ohm. This ensures stable output voltage and minimizes ripple.
The CPDH3V3UP-HF is rated for operation up to 85°C. However, for high-temperature environments above 85°C, it is recommended to derate the output current and consider additional thermal management measures.
To troubleshoot output voltage deviations or instability issues, check the input voltage, output load, and PCB layout. Ensure that the input capacitance value is within the recommended range, and that the output is not overloaded.
