The recommended operating voltage range for the CD4060BMG4 is 3V to 18V.
To ensure the oscillator starts reliably, a 1-10uF capacitor should be connected between the oscillator pins (pins 11 and 12) and a 1kΩ to 10kΩ resistor should be connected between the oscillator pins and VCC.
The maximum clock frequency that the CD4060BMG4 can handle is approximately 1MHz.
The CD4060BMG4 counter can be reset by applying a low signal to the reset pin (pin 12) for at least 10ns.
The Q15 output pin (pin 3) is an output that goes high when the counter reaches its maximum count (15). It can be used to cascade multiple CD4060BMG4 devices or to trigger external circuits.
