Nexperia recommends a layout with a small thermal pad connected to a large copper area on the PCB to improve thermal dissipation. A minimum of 2 oz copper thickness is recommended. Additionally, keep the component away from high-current paths and ensure good airflow around the device.
BAS56,235 is an ESD-sensitive device. Handle it with care, and use ESD-protective equipment and packaging during storage and transportation. Ensure that the device is not exposed to electrostatic discharge during assembly and testing.
Although the datasheet specifies a maximum voltage rating of 35 V, it's recommended to operate the device within 80% of the maximum rating (28 V) to ensure reliability and prevent premature failure.
