  • The maximum operating temperature range for the AT25256B-SSHL-T is -40°C to +85°C.

  • The POR circuitry in the AT25256B-SSHL-T is designed to reset the device during power-up. To handle it, ensure that the power supply voltage rises monotonically and reaches the minimum operating voltage (VCC) before accessing the device.

  • The WP pin is used to prevent accidental writes to the device. When the WP pin is tied to VCC, the entire memory array is write-protected. When tied to GND, the device operates normally.

  • To perform a chip erase, send a sequence of commands: 0x01 to the device, followed by 0x06, and then 0x00. This will erase the entire memory array.

  • The recommended clock frequency for the AT25256B-SSHL-T is up to 1 MHz. However, the device can operate at higher frequencies, but with reduced reliability and potential data corruption.
