A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias is recommended. Ensure a minimum of 1mm clearance around the package for airflow and heat dissipation.
Implement a thermal management system, such as a heat sink or fan, to maintain a junction temperature below 150°C. Monitor the device's thermal status using the thermal monitoring pin (TMON).
Use a 10uF ceramic capacitor and a 100nF ceramic capacitor in parallel, placed as close as possible to the power supply pins. Ensure the capacitors are rated for the maximum operating voltage.
Implement ESD protection diodes (e.g., 1.5KE6.8A) between the power supply pins and ground. Ensure the diodes are rated for the maximum operating voltage and can handle the expected ESD energy.
Set the internal voltage regulator to 1.2V or 1.35V, depending on the application's requirements. Ensure the input voltage is within the recommended range (1.8V to 3.6V) and the output current does not exceed 50mA.
