A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate analog ground plane is recommended. Keep the analog and digital grounds separate and connect them at a single point. Use a low-ESR capacitor for decoupling and place it close to the device.
Calibrate the device regularly, use a high-quality sensor, and ensure proper shielding and grounding of the sensor and PCB. Also, use a stable power supply and minimize noise and interference in the system.
The maximum ambient temperature range for the ADPD188BI is -40°C to +85°C. However, the device can operate at a reduced accuracy at temperatures above 70°C.
While the ADPD188BI is optimized for use with Analog Devices sensors, it can be used with sensors from other manufacturers. However, the performance and accuracy may vary, and additional calibration may be required.
Check the power supply, grounding, and PCB layout. Verify that the sensor is properly connected and calibrated. Use a logic analyzer or oscilloscope to debug the digital interface. Consult the datasheet and application notes for troubleshooting guides.
