A good layout and routing practice is to keep the analog and digital grounds separate, use a solid ground plane, and keep the signal traces short and away from noise sources. Also, use a common mode choke or ferrite bead to filter the power supply lines.
Use a combination of ceramic and electrolytic capacitors to decouple the power supply lines. A 10uF ceramic capacitor and a 10uF electrolytic capacitor in parallel, placed close to the device, are recommended.
The maximum allowed voltage on the analog input pins is 5.5V. To protect them from overvoltage, use a voltage clamp circuit or a zener diode to limit the voltage to 5.5V.
To optimize the ADM3202ANZ for low power consumption, use the power-down mode, reduce the clock frequency, and minimize the number of active channels. The device has three power-saving modes: power-down, standby, and shutdown.
The recommended clock frequency is between 1MHz and 20MHz. A crystal oscillator or a high-quality clock source is recommended to ensure accurate conversions.
