The recommended power-up sequence is to apply VDD first, followed by VSS, and then the logic inputs. This ensures proper device operation and prevents latch-up.
The ADG428BPZ has a thermal pad on the bottom of the package. Ensure good thermal contact between the pad and the PCB by using a thermal interface material or a thermal via. Keep the PCB temperature below 125°C to prevent thermal shutdown.
The maximum voltage that can be applied to the analog inputs is VDD + 0.3V. Exceeding this voltage can cause damage to the device.
To minimize charge injection, use a low-impedance source, keep the analog input signals close to the supply rails, and use a capacitor (e.g., 10nF) between the analog input and the supply rail.
Keep the analog and digital signals separate, use a solid ground plane, and minimize the length of the analog input traces. Use a symmetrical layout and avoid crossing analog and digital signals.
