A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate analog ground plane is recommended. Keep the analog and digital signals separate, and use shielded cables for the current sensors. Route the high-frequency signals away from the analog signals.
Calibration involves adjusting the gain and offset of the ADC to match the current sensor's output. Use the onboard calibration registers to adjust the gain and offset. Refer to the application note AN-1070 for a detailed calibration procedure.
The maximum allowable voltage on the current sense inputs is ±250 mV. Exceeding this voltage may damage the device.
Yes, the ADE7932ARIZ can be used for 3-phase power measurement. Use three separate devices, one for each phase, and synchronize the measurements using the SYNC pin.
