A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate analog ground plane is recommended. Keep the analog and digital sections separate, and use a common mode filter to reduce noise.
Use a low-jitter clock source (<100 ps) and ensure the clock signal is properly terminated. A clock frequency of 1.25 GHz or higher is recommended for optimal performance.
Power up the analog supply (AVDD) first, followed by the digital supply (DVDD), and then the clock input. Ensure all supplies are stable before applying the clock signal.
Use a low-latency, high-speed interface (e.g., JESD204B) to transmit the output data. Ensure the receiving device can handle the high-speed data rate (up to 12.5 Gbps).
Use a heat sink or thermal pad to dissipate heat. Ensure good airflow around the device, and consider using a thermal interface material to improve heat transfer.
