A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep analog and digital signals separate, and use decoupling capacitors close to the device. Refer to the ADI application note AN-756 for more details.
Follow the calibration procedure outlined in the datasheet, which involves setting the internal calibration registers and adjusting the gain and offset settings. You may also need to perform external calibration using an external reference voltage.
The maximum clock frequency is 100 MHz, but it's recommended to use a clock frequency of 50 MHz or less to ensure optimal performance and minimize jitter.
The AD9508SCPZ-EP is designed to operate from a single 3.3V supply, but it can tolerate a supply voltage range of 3.0V to 3.6V. However, operating the device outside of its recommended supply voltage range may affect its performance and reliability.
Use the device's built-in diagnostic features, such as the error flags and status registers, to identify the source of the issue. Also, check the device's power supply, clock signal, and input signals for any anomalies or noise.
