A good PCB layout for the AD8351SCPZ-EP-R7 involves keeping the input and output traces short and symmetrical, using a solid ground plane, and placing decoupling capacitors close to the device. A 4-layer PCB with a dedicated ground plane is recommended.
To ensure proper biasing, connect the VPOS and VNEG pins to a stable voltage source, and decouple them with 10uF and 100nF capacitors, respectively. Also, ensure the input common-mode voltage is within the recommended range of 1.5V to 3.5V.
For optimal performance, use a low-pass filter or an anti-aliasing filter to condition the input signal, and ensure the input signal amplitude is within the recommended range of 100mV to 2V peak-to-peak.
To minimize EMI, use a shielded enclosure, keep the AD8351SCPZ-EP-R7 away from high-frequency sources, and use a common-mode choke or ferrite beads on the input and output lines. Also, ensure good PCB layout practices, such as keeping traces short and using a solid ground plane.
To ensure reliable operation, keep the junction temperature below 150°C. Use a heat sink or a thermal pad on the exposed pad of the package, and ensure good airflow around the device. Also, avoid overheating the device during soldering or rework.
