A good PCB layout for the AD8313 involves keeping the input and output traces short and away from each other, using a solid ground plane, and placing decoupling capacitors close to the device. A 4-layer PCB with a dedicated ground plane is recommended.
The AD8313 is specified to operate from -40°C to 125°C. Ensure that the device is properly heat-sinked and that the ambient temperature is within the specified range. Use thermal simulation tools to estimate the junction temperature and ensure it is within the specified range.
The AD8313 has a high impedance input and a low impedance output. It is recommended to use a 50Ω termination at the input and a 50Ω to 75Ω termination at the output, depending on the specific application requirements.
To minimize EMI, use a shielded enclosure, keep the input and output cables short and away from each other, and use EMI filters or common-mode chokes on the input and output lines. Ensure that the PCB layout is designed to minimize radiation and susceptibility to EMI.
