A low-impedance, single-point ground plane is recommended. Keep the input and output traces short and away from each other to minimize crosstalk. Use a solid ground plane under the device to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Use the gain equation provided in the datasheet to calculate the required resistor values. Consider the desired gain, input impedance, and output impedance when selecting the resistors. You can also use Analog Devices' online gain calculator tool to simplify the process.
The AD8184ARZ can drive up to 100 pF of capacitive load. Exceeding this limit can cause instability and oscillations. To ensure stability, add a series resistor (Rs) to the output to isolate the capacitive load and prevent oscillations.
Use a low-pass filter (LPF) or a band-pass filter (BPF) to filter out high-frequency noise and EMI. You can also add a ferrite bead or a common-mode choke to the power supply lines to reduce EMI.
Use a 10 μF ceramic capacitor in parallel with a 100 nF ceramic capacitor, both connected between the power supply pins (VCC and GND) to decouple the power supply. Add a 10 Ω resistor in series with the 10 μF capacitor to prevent oscillations.
