The AD8039 can operate with a single supply voltage from 2.7V to 12V, or dual supplies from ±1.35V to ±6V.
To ensure stability, add a capacitor (typically 10nF to 100nF) between the output and the inverting input, and a resistor (typically 1kΩ to 10kΩ) in series with the feedback path.
The AD8039 can provide up to 80mA of output current, but this may be limited by the power supply voltage and the load impedance.
Use proper PCB layout techniques, decouple the power supplies with capacitors, and consider adding a noise filter or a ferrite bead in series with the output.
While the AD8039 can be used as a comparator, it's not recommended due to its relatively slow slew rate and limited output current. A dedicated comparator IC would be a better choice.
