A good layout and PCB design for the AD8028AR involves keeping the input and output traces short and away from noise sources, using a solid ground plane, and decoupling the power supplies with capacitors. A 4-layer PCB with a dedicated analog ground plane is recommended. See the AD8028AR evaluation board layout as a reference.
The gain resistors (Rf and Rg) should be chosen based on the desired gain and bandwidth. A good starting point is to use 1 kΩ for Rf and 1 kΩ to 10 kΩ for Rg. The ratio of Rf to Rg determines the gain. For high gains, use smaller values of Rf and larger values of Rg. See the AD8028AR datasheet for more information.
The AD8028AR can drive capacitive loads up to 1 nF without oscillation. However, it's recommended to use a series resistor (Rs) to dampen the output and prevent oscillation. The value of Rs depends on the capacitive load and the desired bandwidth.
To reduce noise and EMI, use a low-noise power supply, decouple the power supplies with capacitors, and use a shielded enclosure. Keep the input and output traces short and away from noise sources, and use a common-mode choke or ferrite bead to filter out high-frequency noise.
The AD8028AR can operate from a single supply voltage of 2.7 V to 5.5 V or a dual supply voltage of ±1.35 V to ±2.75 V. The recommended power supply voltage range is 3.3 V or 5 V for most applications.
