Additionally, decoupling capacitors should be placed close to the ADC's power pins, and the analog input traces should be kept short and shielded.

  • The AD7812YN has an internal calibration circuit that can be used to calibrate the ADC. The calibration process involves applying a known voltage to the input pins and then using the ADC's calibration registers to adjust the gain and offset. The calibration process should be performed at the operating temperature range and with the same power supply voltage as the application.
