The recommended input voltage range for the AD586JRZ is between 10mV and 10V, although it can operate with inputs as low as 1mV and as high as 15V.
To ensure accurate temperature measurement, it's essential to provide a stable voltage supply, minimize noise and interference, and use a high-precision voltage reference. Additionally, calibrate the device according to the datasheet recommendations.
The Zener diode in the AD586JRZ is used as a voltage reference to provide a stable voltage output. It helps to regulate the output voltage and maintain a consistent temperature measurement.
While the AD586JRZ is rated for operation up to 150°C, it's not recommended for high-temperature applications above 125°C. For high-temperature applications, consider using a more suitable device, such as the AD590 or AD698.
The AD586JRZ can be easily interfaced with a microcontroller using an analog-to-digital converter (ADC). Connect the output of the AD586JRZ to an ADC input, and then read the digital value using the microcontroller's ADC peripheral.
