The recommended power-up sequence is to apply VDD first, followed by AVCC, and then the digital supplies (VDDIO and VDDC). This ensures that the internal voltage regulators are powered up correctly.
To ensure accurate voltage output, it is essential to use a stable and low-noise power supply, decouple the power pins with capacitors, and use a high-precision voltage reference. Additionally, ensure that the output voltage is within the specified range and that the load current is within the recommended limits.
The AD5668 can drive a maximum capacitance of 100 nF. Exceeding this limit may affect the stability and accuracy of the output voltage.
To implement a voltage clamp or limit on the AD5668 output, you can use an external voltage clamp circuit or a voltage limiter IC. Alternatively, you can use the internal voltage limiter feature of the AD5668 by configuring the VLIM pin.
To minimize noise and ensure accurate performance, it is recommended to follow a star-ground layout, keep analog and digital signals separate, and use a solid ground plane. Additionally, ensure that the power pins are decoupled with capacitors and that the output voltage is routed away from noisy digital signals.
