The recommended power-up sequence for the AD5667 is to power up VDD first, followed by AVCC, and then the digital interface (SCL and SDA). This ensures that the internal voltage regulators are properly initialized.
To ensure accurate voltage output from the AD5667, it is essential to use a high-precision voltage reference, such as the ADR431 or ADR452, and to follow proper PCB layout and design guidelines to minimize noise and thermal effects.
The AD5667's output can drive up to 1 μF of capacitance. However, it is recommended to limit the capacitance to 100 nF or less to ensure stability and prevent oscillations.
To implement a voltage clamp or limit on the AD5667's output, you can use an external voltage clamp circuit, such as a zener diode or a voltage regulator, or use the AD5667's internal voltage limit feature by programming the VLIMIT register.
The recommended clock frequency for the AD5667's I2C interface is up to 400 kHz. However, the device can operate at higher clock frequencies, up to 1 MHz, but with reduced noise immunity and increased power consumption.
