The recommended power-up sequence is to apply VDD first, followed by AVDD, and then the digital inputs. This ensures that the internal voltage regulators are powered up correctly.
To ensure accurate voltage output, it is essential to decouple the AVDD and VDD pins with 0.1 μF and 10 μF capacitors, respectively. Additionally, use a low-noise, low-dropout voltage regulator to power the AD5620.
The maximum output current of the AD5620 is 5 mA. Exceeding this current limit can cause damage to the device.
The AD5620 can be interfaced with a microcontroller using a standard SPI interface. The microcontroller should be configured as a master, and the AD5620 as a slave. Ensure that the microcontroller's clock frequency is within the AD5620's specified clock frequency range.
The CLR (Clear) pin is an active-low input that resets the DAC output to zero scale (00000000) when pulled low. This pin can be used to reset the DAC output to a known state during power-up or when the device is not in use.
