The recommended power-up sequence is to apply VDD before applying VREF. This ensures that the internal voltage regulator is powered up correctly.
To ensure accurate voltage output, it is recommended to use a high-precision voltage reference (VREF) and to minimize noise on the VREF pin. Additionally, the output voltage should be buffered with an op-amp to prevent loading effects.
The maximum output current of the AD5280 is 5mA. Exceeding this current may cause the output voltage to droop or the device to overheat.
The AD5280 can be programmed using a 3-wire serial interface (SPI). The microcontroller should send the desired voltage code to the AD5280 using the SPI protocol, and the AD5280 will output the corresponding voltage.
The AD5280 is specified to operate over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. However, the device may still function outside of this range, but its performance may degrade.
