Use a low-impedance current sense resistor (CSR) and ensure the CSR is placed close to the IC. Also, use a Kelvin connection to the CSR to minimize parasitic inductance.

The maximum allowable voltage on the VCC pin is 5.5V. Exceeding this voltage may damage the device.

Ensure good airflow around the device, use a heat sink if necessary, and avoid blocking the thermal pad on the bottom of the package.

A 10uF to 22uF ceramic capacitor is recommended for VCC bypassing, placed as close to the VCC pin as possible.
