Texas Instruments recommends a compact layout with the input and output capacitors placed close to the device, and the input and output pins should be routed away from each other to minimize noise coupling. A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane is recommended.
To ensure stability, use a minimum output capacitance of 10uF, and ensure the output capacitor's ESR is less than 1 ohm. Additionally, place a 10nF to 100nF capacitor between the VIN and EN pins to filter noise and prevent oscillation.
