The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the SG3524DR is 40V. Exceeding this voltage can cause damage to the device.
To ensure stability, make sure to decouple the power supply pins (VCC and GND) with a 10uF capacitor, and use a 1kΩ resistor in series with the feedback pin (FB) to prevent oscillations.
The soft-start pin (SS) is used to gradually increase the output voltage during startup, reducing inrush currents. Connect a capacitor (typically 10nF to 100nF) from SS to GND to set the soft-start time.
The output voltage (Vout) can be calculated using the formula: Vout = (1 + R2/R1) * (Vref * (R3/R4)), where R1, R2, R3, and R4 are the resistors in the feedback network, and Vref is the internal reference voltage (5V).
The maximum output current that the SG3524DR can deliver is 500mA. Exceeding this current can cause overheating and damage to the device.
