The recommended power-on sequence is to apply VCC first, followed by VDD, and then the input signal. This ensures proper internal biasing and prevents damage to the device.
To minimize noise, use a low-ESR capacitor for decoupling, keep the input and output traces short and symmetrical, and avoid running digital signals near the analog signal paths. Additionally, use a quiet power supply and consider adding a noise filter to the input signal.
The SA5532AP can handle input signal amplitudes up to 2.5Vpp (peak-to-peak) without distortion or clipping. Exceeding this limit may result in signal degradation or device damage.
Verify that the supply voltage (VCC) is within the recommended range of 4.5V to 16V, and the operating temperature is within the range of -40°C to 85°C. Also, ensure the device is not exposed to excessive moisture or humidity.
The internal 10kΩ resistor is a pull-down resistor that helps to prevent the output from floating when the input signal is disconnected or in a high-impedance state.
