The recommended power-up sequence is to apply VCC first, followed by VDD, and then the digital inputs. This ensures that the internal voltage regulators are powered up correctly and the device operates reliably.
To optimize the PCB layout, keep the analog and digital grounds separate, use a solid ground plane, and keep the analog signals away from the digital signals. Also, use a low-ESR capacitor for the VCC and VDD pins, and ensure that the decoupling capacitors are placed close to the device.
The maximum clock frequency that can be used with the PCM1754 is 192 kHz. However, the device can also operate at lower clock frequencies, such as 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, and 96 kHz, depending on the application requirements.
