A 2-layer or 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias is recommended for optimal thermal performance. The thermal pad should be connected to a large copper area to dissipate heat efficiently.
Ensure that the device is operated within the recommended temperature range (−40°C to +125°C). Use a heat sink or thermal interface material to improve heat dissipation. Also, consider using a thermal protection circuit to prevent overheating.
A 10uF to 22uF X5R or X7R ceramic capacitor is recommended for the input capacitor. The capacitor should be placed as close to the device as possible to minimize noise and ensure stable operation.
Use a shielded enclosure, keep the device away from noise sources, and use a common-mode choke or ferrite bead to filter the input voltage. Also, ensure that the PCB layout is designed to minimize radiation and coupling between traces.
