The maximum voltage rating for the input pins is 80V, but it's recommended to keep it below 60V for reliable operation.
To ensure accurate OVP threshold, make sure to decouple the VIN pin with a 10uF capacitor to GND, and use a low-ESR capacitor for the OVSET pin.
For optimal performance, keep the input capacitors close to the VIN pin, and the OVSET pin capacitor close to the OVSET pin. Also, keep the GND pin connected to a solid ground plane.
The OCP threshold can be adjusted by connecting a resistor (RILT) between the ILIM pin and GND. The threshold is set to 1.5A/V, so a 1kΩ resistor would set the threshold to 1.5A.
The FAULT pin is an open-drain output that goes low when an overvoltage or overcurrent fault is detected. It can be used to trigger an external reset or shutdown circuit.
