  • A good PCB layout for the LMX2485SQ/NOPB involves separating the analog and digital grounds, using a solid ground plane, and placing the device close to the power supply. However, as a general guideline, set the PLL loop bandwidth to 100kHz to 500kHz, and the PLL damping factor to 0.5 to 1.5. To ensure PLL lock, monitor the PLL lock detect output (LD) and adjust the PLL settings as needed.
