Texas Instruments recommends a 2-layer or 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias to the bottom layer to dissipate heat efficiently.
Monitor the input voltage, output voltage, and output current to ensure they are within the recommended operating conditions specified in the datasheet.
A ceramic capacitor with a value of 10uF to 22uF is recommended for input decoupling, placed as close to the device as possible.
Use a shielded enclosure, keep the device away from noise sources, and use a common-mode choke or ferrite bead on the input lines to minimize EMI.
A ceramic capacitor with a value of 10uF to 22uF is recommended for output filtering, placed as close to the device as possible.
