The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the LM258ADR is 42V, but it's recommended to keep it below 40V for reliable operation.
To ensure stability, make sure to use a minimum output capacitance of 22uF, and keep the output voltage ripple below 1% of the output voltage. Also, use a low-ESR capacitor and keep the layout clean and compact.

Choose an inductor with a high saturation current rating, low DC resistance, and a high quality factor (Q). A good starting point is to use an inductor with an inductance value between 10uH to 22uH, and a current rating of at least 3A.
The enable pin (EN) is used to turn the regulator on or off. When EN is high, the regulator is enabled, and when EN is low, the regulator is disabled and the output is turned off.
