The DS1620+ can be connected to a single 1-Wire bus along with other 1-Wire devices, but the maximum number of devices is limited by the bus capacitance and the pull-up resistor value. A typical limit is around 10-15 devices.
The DS1620+ has a built-in power-on reset circuit that resets the device to its default state when power is applied. After power-on, the device defaults to a high-impedance state, and the 1-Wire bus is released.
