Allegro recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane on the bottom layer, and a separate power plane for the VCC and GND pins. Keep the signal traces short and away from noise sources. Use a decoupling capacitor (e.g., 10nF) between VCC and GND close to the device.
The thermal pad should be connected to a thermal relief pattern on the PCB to ensure good heat dissipation. Use a thermal interface material (e.g., thermal tape or thermal grease) to improve heat transfer between the device and the PCB.
The AMT49702KLPATR is rated for operation from -40°C to 150°C (TJ). However, for optimal performance and reliability, Allegro recommends operating the device within the -20°C to 125°C range.
