The recommended PCB layout for optimal thermal performance involves placing the module near a metal plate or heat sink, ensuring good airflow, and using thermal vias to dissipate heat. A minimum of 2oz copper thickness is recommended for the PCB.
To ensure reliable operation in high-humidity environments, it is recommended to apply a conformal coating to the module, use a humidity-resistant PCB material, and ensure good airflow around the module.
The recommended input capacitors are X7R or X5R ceramic capacitors with a voltage rating of 50V or higher, and a capacitance value of 10uF to 22uF. The recommended output capacitors are X7R or X5R ceramic capacitors with a voltage rating of 25V or higher, and a capacitance value of 10uF to 22uF.
To troubleshoot issues with the module's output voltage, check the input voltage, output load, and ambient temperature. Verify that the module is properly connected and that the output capacitors are of the recommended type and value. Use an oscilloscope to measure the output voltage and check for any signs of oscillation or noise.
The recommended input voltage range for this module is 36V to 72V. Operating the module outside of this range may affect its reliability and performance.
