The recommended power-up sequence is to apply VCC first, followed by AVCC, and then the digital supplies (DVCC and OVCC). This ensures that the internal voltage regulators are powered up correctly.
To ensure accurate voltage output, it is essential to decouple the AVCC pin with a 10uF capacitor to GND, and also decouple the VOUT pin with a 10uF capacitor to GND. Additionally, use a low-noise, low-impedance power supply for AVCC.
The AD5541LRZ can source up to 10mA of output current. However, it is recommended to limit the output current to 5mA or less to ensure accurate voltage output and to prevent overheating.
The AD5541LRZ can be interfaced with a microcontroller using a standard SPI interface. The microcontroller should be configured as a SPI master, and the AD5541LRZ should be configured as a SPI slave. Ensure that the microcontroller's SPI clock frequency is within the recommended range of 1MHz to 5MHz.
The CLR (Clear) pin is an active-low input that resets the internal registers and DAC output to their default states when pulled low. It is recommended to tie the CLR pin to VCC through a 1kΩ resistor to prevent accidental resets.
