The 25LC512-I/SN has a minimum of 1 million write cycles, but the actual number of write cycles may vary depending on the usage and operating conditions.
To ensure data integrity, it is recommended to use the WP (Write Protect) pin to prevent accidental writes during power-down or power-up. Additionally, using a voltage supervisor or a power-on reset circuit can help prevent data corruption.
The recommended operating voltage range for the 25LC512-I/SN is 2.5V to 5.5V. Operating the device outside of this range may affect its performance and reliability.
The HOLD pin should be tied to VCC or left floating during normal operation. Tying the HOLD pin to GND will put the device in a low-power standby mode, and it should only be done when the device is not being accessed.
The WP pin is used to prevent accidental writes to the device. When the WP pin is tied to GND, the device is in a write-protected state, and any attempts to write to the device will be ignored.
