  • The 24C01CT/SN has a minimum of 1 million write cycles, but the actual number of write cycles may vary depending on the operating conditions and usage patterns.

  • The 24C01CT/SN uses a page write mode for writing data to the EEPROM. The page size is 8 bytes, and the device can perform block writes of up to 32 bytes. The device automatically increments the address pointer after each byte is written.

When the WP pin is tied to GND, the device can be written to, but specific blocks can be write-protected using the block protection bits.

  • The 24C01CT/SN has a built-in retry mechanism for write operations. If a write operation fails, the device will automatically retry the write operation up to 3 times. If the write operation still fails after 3 retries, the device will set the write fail bit in the status register.

  • The recommended clock frequency for the 24C01CT/SN is up to 400 kHz. However, the device can operate at clock frequencies up to 1 MHz, but with reduced reliability and performance.
